YAGYU RYU JUJUTSU
Sei Shin Kan Yagyu Ryu Jujutsu is an ancient and highly sophisticated martial art that was developed by the well known Yagyu family clan of feudal Japan who were at one time the exclusive advisors/teachers to ruling Shogun. Yagyu Ryu Jujutsu is Koryu Bujutsu - an ancient style of battlefield proven and effective form of combat. Yagyu Ryu Jujutsu like all authentic Jujutsu is Sogo Bujutsu - a well rounded, complete combat art that incorporates all 3 methods of fighting tactics - grappling, percussion and weaponry. Yagyu Ryu Jujutsu is famous for its Kakushi Buki Jutsu - concealed weaponry tactics and for Yoroi Kumiuchi - a form of grappling combat in full Armor. Yagyu Ryu Jujutsu is a “parent” martial art, an art from which other Martial Arts forms have evolved from. Modern Aikido, Judo and even some forms of Karate all originated FROM Jujutsu. The Sei Shin Kan is the only Yagyu Ryu Jujutsu Dojo in North America.
